But that's more or less it, really. I'll usually take a painkiller if it's still aching after the fact.

[He will not kiss it better, because that would be unsanitary and a concern for infection.]

Is it aching?

[ Rufus, please acknowledge that Dorothy was not being serious-- ]

I'm more than capable of doing that much myself.

[In that case, he stands—not to grab a painkiller for her, but to go now that their arrangement has concluded for the day.]
