misstrust | Alphinaud; Catch-all

[ Honestly, she's just walking to clear her head, when what should appear before her but-- ]

... Ah. Enjoying a walk?

[ Well it's been a riveting day, but sometimes you decide it's time to retire to your (new) room for the night—cue Alphinaud walking in. What'cha up to, Dorothy. ]

[ Whatever the reason, probably the need to be able to sleep, the both of them are back in their room. And Dorothy, studying Alphinaud, hums a little thoughtfully. ]

Your hair's looking a bit messy.

[ Sometime late in the night, Alphinaud finally returns to the room. Since Monday he's been careful enough to knock before entering—look, he'd rather not have a repeat of before!—but this time, too exhausted to think twice of it, he simply makes his way in.

And all he ends up doing is tiredly sitting at the edge of his own bed, hands wrapped around a cup of tea. Don't ask me what kind it is idk anything about tea. It's stress tea. ]

[ Knock knock, Dorothy. The door is open, but Alphinaud raps at it with a knuckle nonetheless, and he calls out, voice slightly lowered in case she is asleep: ]

Dorothy? ... Pray pardon the interruption.

[ While coming through the inn, Alphinaud spots none other than Dorothy lounging around on the sofas. He hadn't been able to speak with her yesterday, so he's relieved to see her today, even if she's in poor shape.

And kind of... staring around blankly. ]

You are feeling well enough to be about, Dorothy?

[ hello ]

[ Dorothy doesn't really want to check out Yeehaw Town anymore, not on her crutches-- but there's Alphinaud, making his way back, and she blinks and lifts a hand in a wave.

Look, she doesn't know who can or can't hear right now. ]

[ Hi, Alphinaud.

Here we are in the inn, and Dorothy is taking one (tired) look at him and sighing quietly. ]

You look as though you've got more than this poison weighing you down.

[ Post trial... Wherever Dorothy is, Alphinaud will be approaching. ]
