[ Hi, Alphinaud.

Here we are in the inn, and Dorothy is taking one (tired) look at him and sighing quietly. ]

You look as though you've got more than this poison weighing you down.

[ We are at the inn! Alphinaud is sitting around on the couches at the lobby, with—of course—tea in hand. It has been helping with the effects of poison, at least. ]

I had some trouble sleeping last night, is all. 'Tis a poor day to tackle when not well rested, I say.

Indeed. How fortunate we were that it didn't turn out as expected.

[ And Dorothy just slowly sinks down onto the couch, heaving a sigh. ]

I hope you'll be able to rest better tonight.

Worry not, I shall make certain of it. I do not oft find myself struggling with sleep, at the very least.

[ He feels worn out enough to nap right here if he wanted, really. ]

You're more than welcome to make use of my lap, should you need it.

[ She at least slept on and off last night. ]

... I—ahem. Your offer is deeply appreciated, yet I fear I must decline at this time.

[ Why are you so FORWARD ]

... You appear to be sweating quite a bit.

[ Dorothy can't be tamed. ]

—Hardly! I know you only speak like that to get a rise from me.

[ He's been around you often ENOUGH, miss. ]

Oh, I wouldn't say that. You are more than welcome to use my lap.

A pillow shall suffice, when the time comes.

[ tea sip ]

I suppose it might trouble your lady, you're correct.

... Quite. And I've little intention of giving her the wrong impression.

[ She gives him a look. ]

Are you also one thousand years old?

—Huh? Oh, certainly not. But no one is still a child at seventeen summers, either!
