[ There's a pause. A heavy one at that, and then the pillow just kind of taps his hand. ]

You certainly know exactly what to say to a girl, don't you?

Ha. Well...I have my charms.

[He pulls the pillow inside, before poking his own head out to stare over at Dorothy. His emotions are serious, still as the surface of a water.]

He was sitting, dead, in a chair in the pub. It looked like there had been a fight of sorts. Tables and glasses smashed...and I think that Ochako noticed there were two empty glasses on the counter. Raven...I didn't get a close look at his body, but there was a spray of blood away from it, and then a pool of it around him. I think...maybe he was shot. I don't know.

[ Her own emotions are... well, a mixture of dizziness and vertigo and some haziness but also sorrow. Still, she does her best to listen. ]

... I was in the pub and I didn't wake up for any of that. You'd think I would have been able to hear gunshots fired or glass breaking...

You were in the pub?

[He's giving her a curious look, a bit of concern peeking through.]

You aren't hurt, are you?

Nothing beyond the earlier injury. [ Dorothy's quick to reassure him, gesturing to the bump on her head she got from-- well, he knows. ]

Sora and the twins and Rufus and Alyssa were there, as well. I haven't had a chance to talk to them yet, but I feel like one of them would have said something if they had been hurt.

Rather, it's... surprising that we weren't?

[ She's so confused. ]

Hey, how is Rufus? I saw him collapsing earlier. Elsa was saying he was drunk?

I'm faaaairly sure we all are! Seems to be a side effect, though he barely even got through one glass last night.

[ Dorothy just handles it better than that lightweight. ]

You seem absolutely normal, though?

Mm, my balance isn't... the best right now, but I've also been fond of alcohol for years.

[ Stomach of iron, liver of steel. ]

Goodness. Miss Dorothy...your skills are not something to sneeze at. How much did you drink last night?

... I'm not sure. [ Oh. ]

We were all drinking together, mostly [ look, she only let Sora have one sip ] but then Lup and Taako got enthusiastic about a drinking game and Rufus got competitive... even Captain S-- Raven was playing.

[ She actually sounds (and feels) a little embarrassed. ]
