[ Dorothy likes to act on impulse more often than not, except when the situation calls on not. But this particular impulse is strange, because she can't quite place it. It's a nagging, uncomfortable feeling that's making her feel drained and unhappy and kind of a little ill but no matter what she does, it's not going away.
Until. She catches a glimpse of a semi-familiar face, wherever she may be and it clicks first in her instincts before her brain can catch up.

[it's a nice day! it's a weird day. the area across the bridge opened up into... uh, space? you can visit the moon?? she's genuinely not sure what to make of it. also she's been feeling... well, slowly awful, like a whole-body headache. sort of like a cold. so, instead of messing with anything, she's just sitting in the square, writing in her diary.
well. she was, until a rapid movement catches her attention out of the corner of her eye. she turns--
--and everything happens almost in slow motion, but quite quickly. dorothy is on her like a shot, wrapping her arms around her shoulders, extracting a ghkk?? noise at the gesture--
--and she's falling over on to the bench, journal and pen dropping to the ground, because she's hugging dorothy, too.
[ Poor Elsa didn't deserve this, and Dorothy makes an apologetic noise even as she makes a valiant attempt to right them both so poor Elsa isn't just knocked over dramatically.
She sighs, after a moment, still holding her close.

[ Oops. It's kind of watching an individual shrink within themselves and Dorothy's frown turns a tad apologetic. She hasn't had the best set of parents, but it's good to know that Elsa's at least seem to have been looking out for her. ]
So now it's just a matter of getting accustomed to it?
